Our Mission, Goals and Objectives

BipoBetter is a non-profit organization founded in 2022. The main goals are prevention, detection and amelioration. By making progress on these three objectives, we hope to reduce the suicide rate of the bipolar community and reduce the long average time to a proper diagnosis, which can take a decade. The mechanism we've chosen to do this is to provide concise information to the target audience so that they can get help as soon as possible and mitigate the damage that unrecognized and untreated bipolar disorder can do to a person's life and their environment. Once an individual seeks treatment, we also have a list of great additional tools that one can use to improve their quality of life and live a purposeful and fulfilling life with the disorder. In addition, the tools for depression can provide useful options for people from all walks of life. Depression has always been ubiquitous in society and is too often stigmatized, making the lives of those affected even more difficult. Educating people about the symptoms and solutions can help break down the stereotypical misconceptions about mental illness, both for bipolar disorder and depression. We also want to empower those living with bipolar disorder to use their neurodiversity to their advantage and become a productive member of society as they see fit. If you would like to contribute to this organization, share this website with a friend or family member and help us expand the reach of our message. You can also purchase merchandise or donate directly to help fund presentations and activities to achieve our goal.
